One day I found myself wondering how one might plausibly explain the Star Trek technology in which subspace
fields can “reduce” the mass of a starship while still respecting energy and momentum conservation. (I know.
But I was bored, okay.) .
This led me to consider various other energy and momentum questions involving subspace and warp fields in general.
(Yes, I was still bored.)
Eventually, I decided to write down my thoughts so I could make sense of them and share them with others.
(Okay, that went beyond boredom and moved towards the "get a life" category, I agree.) I also tried to keep
the ideas consistent with what we see in Star Trek’s technology. So I wrote... and wrote... and wrote some
more. The links below lead to the results of that effort.
